Carly re-joined the Hitchin practice in July 2019, having worked for the company previously for 8 ½ years. She is a mum to twins Freddie and Evie. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, travelling (when possible) and baking.

Senior Accountant
Sue has wide experience of accounting roles in the motor and service industries and works for some of our larger corporate clients. Along with reading, swimming, gym occasionally and socialising with friends, Sue likes to wind up her younger grandchildren when she gets the chance, and acts as unpaid taxi for her oldest granddaughter which takes up far more of her time than any of the afore mentioned.

Rachael joined the Hitchin practice in June 2019 with more than 15 years of accounting experience including auditing and accounts preparation for small/medium sized companies, as well as managing the budgeting & forecasting process and management accounts at Travelex. Her role involves the production of managements accounts, VAT, personal tax returns, annual accounts and corporation tax returns. She is mum to two energetic boys and in her spare time enjoys cycling, gardening, cooking and reading.

Client Manager
Inga has more than 20 years of accounting experience including six years at PwC, London, in audit and forensic accounting and six years at Thresher Group in various financial and management accounting roles. Inga oversees the production of management accounts, VAT, personal tax returns, annual accounts and corporation tax returns for a group of clients. She is mum to two boys and enjoys reading, cooking, walking and swimming.
Daniel Basford, BMus(Hons) PCRNCM, AATQB, MAAT
Client Manager
Daniel began working at the Hitchin practice in 2015. His role includes preparing tax returns for individuals, sole traders and partnerships, as well as payroll reporting. He is a classically-trained musician, plays percussion, piano and cello and is an award-winning composer of classical music.

Accounts Assistant
Margareta joined the Hitchin practice in February 2020, supporting the Client Managers and Senior Accountants in the production of management accounts, general bookkeeping, client queries and administrative duties.
